Week 1 Wednesday, 17 October was Grandparents Day. We enjoyed singing, reading, asking questions and playing games with our grandparents. At lunch time we found some great spots to enjoy a picnic. We are sorry if we missed taking photos of everyone as it was a very busy afternoon. THANKS FOR COMING EVERYONE!!!
On Thursday Painter all the year one children how to put their helmets correctly.
Week 2 This week we started our Discovery lessons on lemons. These are some of the learning centres we had. 1. Can you find out how many seeds are in one lemon? Do all lemons have the same number of seeds? 2. Can you make this clock work using lemons? The clock did not have any batteries. 3. Can you find out which part of the lemon is the sourest? 4. Can you design and make a container using the materials provided to carry 5 lemons from one end of the room to the other? 5. Can you arrange the lemons on your table in the bowl and sketch them? Can you sketch part of a lemon? 6. Which lemon squeezer works the best?
On Saturday, 27 October we had our school gala. Look at the fun things we did.
